Boat trip to the island and lighthouse ”svenner fyr”
kr1.900,-
One of the most beautiful places around Larvik if you ask me!
Svenner Lighthouse (Norwegian: Svenner fyr) is a coastal lighthouse in the municipality of Larvik in Vestfold og Telemark, Norway. The lighthouse is located in the Svenner archipelago, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) to the southeast of the town of Stavern, near the entrance to the Larviksfjorden. The lighthouse was first lit in 1874. The current tower was built in 1900. The lighthouse was listed as a protected site in 1997, and was automated in 2003.
White beaches, seals, rocks, edible plants, fish and of course the lighthouse. This is a beautiful place!
It is also possible to stay over night on the island. If the weather is good we can just take our hammocks or tents, or we can sleep on the boat. If the weather does not allow it is possible to book a night in the lighthouse keeper’s house (of course this is also an option in good weather). The availability is very limited, so this has to be booked in advance and in consultation.
It is also a nice place to go snorkeling. We have all equipment for this which can be rented for an extra fee.
