Do you like hiking and do you want to see a white landscape which just comes out of a fairy tale? Then this is a tour for you!

Our snowshoes will protect you from sinking kneedeep (or even worse) into the snow. With this feature mounted under your feet you can go almost everywhere, also during winter!

This trip can be adapted according to your needs and wishes, but in general we will be out for 3-6 hours trying to reach a nice viewpoint. We will go through the forest crossing uneven terrain, maybe even a frozen lake or river. Somewhere halfway we will make a fire, and you will get an excellent meal and something to drink.

This trip can be also combinated with for example ice fishing.

The max. group size on this tour is 4 people + 1 guide.

What’s included?

• Rent of snowshoes & walking sticks.
• A hot meal, something to drink. (please let us know if you have any allergies or if you need for example a vegetarian/vegan meal).
• A woodfire.
• A guide with local knowledge. Available languages: NL, PL, NO, DE.
• Maybe with a bit of luck we will see some animals in the forest.
• Snow. A lot of snow.
• A headlamp. It might happen that we return or start in the dark.

What is not included?

• You need to bring your own shoes which are suitable to fit into the snowhoes. We recommend waterproof shoes with high ankle. Also bring warm clothes, temperatures can drop to -20 degrees celcius.
• Transfers. The starting point of this trip is our B&B in Hvarnes. But we can discuss pick up on every other location in the Vestfold & Telemark district.
